Boatswain Beach - A Place for Young Kids

There are tons of activities, tours, and events in the Cayman Islands, but all of them are not for everyone. If you want to try something for kids, teenagers, and grownups, you should visit Boatswain

In Cayman Islands, there are many fun attractions for teenagers and grownups. Teenagers can choose from snorkeling, wave runners, jet skis, surfing, and other water based sports. Grown-ups can choose from bus tours, walking tours, sightseeing, and casinos. Smaller kids, however, do not have much to choose from while in the Cayman Islands. This can be a problem when grownups want to have fun and their teenagers what to have fun as well. When both parties want to have fun, someone has to take the small kids with them. The issue is that kids are not allowed in casinos, and they cannot participate in most of the water sports with teenagers. All that seems to be left is touring with a grownup; however, kids will definitely think touring is boring. If you take your kids on a tour, it will only be a matter of time before they tell you that they want to go home. To avoid all of this, it is best to find activities that are suitable for everyone, so everybody will have an awesome time. A great place in the Cayman Islands worth visiting with your kids and teenagers is Boatswain Beach. Boatswain Beach is the home of Turtle Farm; your small kids love this place and everyone else too.

Turtle Farms opens at 8:00am and closes at 5:00pm, and you and your family can visit 7 days a week. Everyone will find something great about Turtle Farms; kids will particularly enjoy petting the turtles. Your kids will be allowed to pick up each turtle and hold it, which makes a great photo oppunitnity. You do not want to miss your chance to take a picture of your child holding a turtle; it makes a cool post card. Your older kids, however, may not fully enjoy holding small turtles, but they will love the iguana hut. The iguanas are very cooling looking animals; they resemble a crocodile. There is something for grown-ups at Turtle Farm too; the nearby 3,500sq retail building is a nice place to buy souvenirs. You will see so many kinds of items on the shelves that you will have a tough time deciding what to buy. You should visit the retail store after everyone has seen the turtles and iguanas because the air conditioner feels great after being in the heat. If everyone has enjoyed the activities and shopping, you can take your family to the Turtlecrawl Deli to get some snacks. There also other great attractions at Turtle Farm as well, but you should avoid the snorkeling area.

Smiths Cove - Grand Cayman Island
Grand Cayman Beach
The reason why you should avoid the snorkel lagoon is that it costs money. You kids should not snorkel at Turtle Farm because snorkeling is free in many other places in the Cayman Islands. If your kids want to snorkel, take them to a real beach instead of using the man made area at Turtle Farm. The water may seem cool; however, it is just not worth your cash to let your kids snorkel there.

Turtle Farm is a nice attraction for everyone in your family; kids will love the turtles, teenager will dig the iguanas, and grownups will enjoy the huge retail store.
