Brac Reef Beach - Food, Locals, and Scuba Diving

Brac Reef Beach is a great place for first time visitors in The Cayman Islands. The beach gets tons of locals, and tourists get to socialize with them after having a gourmet meal

If you never been to The Cayman Islands before, you should definitely visit Brac Reef Beach. This place is known for its gourmet style food and its friendly crowd, which mainly consists of locals.

You can talk with the locals at Brac Reef Beach by visiting the bar; you should ask them about the best places worth visiting in The Cayman Islands. The food, however, is the main attraction because it is prepared by top Jamaican chiefs. No matter what you order, it will look, smell, and taste great. The staff are unbelievably friendly; they will cook whatever type of food you want even if it is not on the menu. When your meal is ready, a polite and friendly Jamaican waiter brings it to you with a smile.

If you get extremely hungry, you should visit the buffet table. The buffet has many kinds of dishes for locals and guests to eat; however, some people go too far and over eat. People have gained weight in The Cayman Islands because of Brac Reef Beach's buffet table. Although the food is delicious, you will have to control yourself by eating less or by participating in a physical weight reducing activity.

At Brac Reef Beach, you can go scuba diving with a crew called the Reef Divers; they offer some amazing escort dives. During an escort dive, everyone follows one of the crewmembers underwater, which is not difficult to do. The escort person always wears something unique so everybody can spot him. One of the most hilarious things that he wears is a Sherk hat, which looks like the ogre from the movie. Although the hat looks funny, it does a good job helping everyone keep his or her eyes on the escort guide during the trip.

As the guide travels through the water, he will lead everyone to some astonishing places to see some fantastic things. Everyone will encounter sea turtles, fish, reef sharks, and other interesting things during the dive; following the escort is a whole lot better than scuba diving alone. Scuba diving with the Reef Divers is a lot of fun, which is way many people choose to stay at Brac Reef Beach during their vacation.

All the rooms at Brac Reef Beach are great; however, people who plan to go scuba diving a lot should only get a certain type of room. To enjoy scuba diving trips, you will need the right equipment, which sometimes requires buying tons of gear. Since most of the rooms are small, frequent scuba divers should stay in a place that has a king size bedroom. A king size room will be big enough to store heaps of diving equipment. If you plan to only socialize at the bar or have dinner on the beach, you should get a regular room instead.

Brac Reef Beach is a terrific place for meeting locals and eating great gourmet meals. The scuba dives are also outstanding because the escort trips are always an adventure.
