Cayman Islands - Kayak Eco Tour
If you want to take an educational and
exciting tour while in the Cayman Islands, you will enjoy the Kayak Eco Tour.
The tour is fun for everyone, and tourists get to snorkel from the kayak
afterwards.
Many of the tours in the Cayman
Islands are fun, but only a few of them are unique. All of the water
vehicle based tours are worth trying once, but some of them require training
first. One tour that you just have to try is the Kayak Eco Tour; it is a
trilling adventure and tons of fun. It is a good idea to take this tour before
trying to go kayaking alone; you will learn a lot from the experience.
Once you book your tour, you will have to take a bus ride to the touring site.
The good thing about the bus is that it has a working air conditioner to keep
you nice and cool. Once you reach the site, you will meet your very experienced
and knowledgeable tour guide. It is a good idea to use the restroom before
everyone is assigned to his or her kayak. This will be your only chance to use
the restroom, and you will not have fun kayaking if you really have to go. If
you forget to use the restroom, you will have to wait until the 2-hour tour is
over. Once everyone uses the restroom, the tour guide will tell everyone
information about the trip.
You should really pay attention when he talks about safety issues. If you fall
out of your kayak, you must know act correctly so you will not harm yourself.
You will be proper equipped with the right safely gear if you happen to fall out
of your kayak in rough water. The tour guide gives everyone a vest to wear if he
or she wants it; the vest helps tourists float in the water. The first half of
the trip takes place in shallow water, so anyone who is tall enough may be able
to walk while in the water. Kids should definitely take the vest because the
water gets deeper as the tour continues. The good thing about the kayaks is that
they are two person kayaks; parents can ride along with their children to keep
them safe. Besides all the safely issues dealing with people falling from their
kayak, there are many great things about this trip too.

During the tours, everyone will see
different kinds of costal environments, bird's nests, sea grass, and mangrove
communities. Kids and grownups will really learn a lot on this tour; the guide
will generally point out important areas during the trip. The tour guide stops
frequently to discuss the surrounds, so you and your boat partner will never get
tired from paddling. Once everyone has seen many of the sites, the guide will
let everybody jump into the water to snorkel. The gear is provided to everyone
free of charge, and the snorkel part of the trip takes place in a nice, clam
spot.
Taking a Kayak Eco Tour in the Cayman Islands is a nice
alternative to all the other normal types of tours. During the kayak tour, you
will learn about interesting sites while rowing through the water. After the
learning part of the tour, everyone gets to snorkel in the ocean.
