Cayman Islands - Marriot Resort
The beach and the pool are popular locations
at the Marriot Beach Resort. The Marriot is a good resort for families; however,
there are limited activities for kids.
The Marriot Resort is a decent place for
single people, couples, and families. The place is beautiful; you will notice
this the moment you step into the lobby. Visitors love this resort, and they
spend most of their time outdoors near the pool or on the nearby beach.
The Marriot's beach is amazing because the staff is friendly, and they provide
great lunches. When you get hungry, you can order something from the vendor who
cooks on the beach. The food is cooked on an outstanding grill, which really
gives the dishes a fantastic favor. Grilled food will be your only option at
this beach; others items will have to be ordered somewhere else. After lunch,
you should visit the turtles in the pond at the resort; viewing the turtles is a
terrific activity for kids.
At the pond, the turtles like to swim and rest in the water. Children will love
the turtles; they will enjoy picking them up and petting them. The bad thing is
that this is the only fun attraction for small kids at the Marriot. Young kids
who know how to swim well, however, may also enjoy swimming in the resort pool
or in the ocean at the beach.
The pool is the preferred place to swim for most tourists because of the
resort's poolside lunch service. Guests get to order drinks and snacks while
floating in the water; however, the service is not 100% great. Some staff
members will not be in a hurry to take the orders. Visitors will have to call an
employee over or swim to an individual to place an order, which can get
frustrating. The good thing is that the pool is small, so swimming to the end of
it will not be tiring.

The ocean by the resort is a brilliant
place to snorkel because the water is warm with a limited amount of waves. If
you have kids, you will have to keep a close eye on them when they are swimming
due to the ocean's depth. When you enter the ocean, you will notice that the
water is very shallow, but this will change drastically. As you walk farther out
in the ocean, you will realize that the water get deeper quite quickly. Children
should not go farther than 10 to 15 ft if they are not excellent swimmers.
After spending a few hours at the resort, you should definitely visit Georgetown
to buy some souvenirs. You will find dozens of unique shirts there, which make
terrific gifts for family members back home. Jewelry is also popular; you should
shop around for discounts on the top brands. Shopping in Georgetown can take
hours; however, the staff at the resort will have your room clean and prepared
when you return.
One of the good things about this resort is that the service is amazing;
whenever you need something, you will get it for you right away. After you pick
up the phone and call the front desk, someone will bring you want you need
within minutes. The great service is what makes this resort so marvelous, and
you will appreciate it.
The Cayman Marriot Beach in the Cayman Islands has an
outstanding room service and great turtle pond for kids. The beach area is
splendid, and the resort is only a short distance from Georgetown, which is a
popular tourist spot.
