Planning Cayman Islands Vacation for Kids

The Cayman Islands has many fun activities to keep kids happy on their vacation. Most of the activities are memorable, and your children will talk about them way after the vacation is over.

The Cayman Islands is a cool vacation spot, but some kids may not think so. When you tell them that they are not going to a theme park, they will get somewhat sad. They will definitely miss the rides, the characters, and the souvenirs, so your current vacation plans has to be good. In the Cayman Islands, you should start my letting your kids try the basic stuff first and the best activities last. On day one, you should keep the activities as simple as possible; the best way to enjoy the first day is by playing a game of golf.

Golf is a nice way to show your kids that The Cayman Islands is a cool place. During the game, they will notice how beautiful the islands are and how amazing the course is. You should take your kids to The Links of Safe Haven, but everyone might have to do a bit of walking. A few years ago, hurricane Ivan damaged the golf course, which makes it impossible to drive a golf cart. The staff is working hard to repair the damages, so the course should complete redone soon. Walking with your kids on the golf course is a great way to spend time with them; everyone will really bond closer during the golf game. After day one is over, you can prepare for the next day's activities, which is even more exciting.

Your kids mouths will drop when you tell them that they are going on an underwater dive. Divetech offers a kids program and an adventure program; your kids will love them both. A training instructor teaches all the basic rules so everyone will understand what to do. The actually dive goes deep underwater to around 40 feet, and your kids will see tons of animals. There is no better way to see marine animals in the Cayman Islands than taking a dive; your kids will talk about this experience for years. The scuba experience may be the highlight of their vacation, but you can surprise them with another cool activity the next day.

All kids love theme parks with fast trilling rides and games to win prizes; Atlantis has most of this in the form of water base activities. All the activities at Atlantis will get your kids completely soaked, which is a good thing. When you drive up to the main entrance, your children's eyes will get huge with excitement. There is so much to do at Atlantis, and your kids will enjoy every minute they are there. If you want to add to their excitement, you can take them to the skate park or the wave park after they are done at Atlantis.

Kids can have tons of fun in The Cayman Islands because there is tons of fun stuff to try. Golf makes a nice first day activity; your children will really appreciate the surroundings. A scuba dive is a cool second activity; the underwater dive is awesome and memorable. Finally, you can make your kids very happy by taking them to the Atlantis Water Park, the skate park, or the wave park.
