Cayman Islands - Plantation Village

Plantation Village is a nice place to stay while in the Cayman Islands. There is only one issue dealing with the beach area, but it is not major

There are many great places to stay in the Cayman Islands; however, Plantation Village is unique. Plantation Village has a nice beach area, swimming pools, and other activities to keep guest entertained. There is one issue with Plantation Village, and it deals with the beach area. The issue cannot be ignored; however, it will not ruin your vacation if you plan to visit Plantation Village. Besides the minor beach issue, you will still be happy when you step into your condominium during your first day at Plantation Village.

The condominiums at Plantation Village are very nice and elegant; you might not want to go home after you see the rooms. You get all the usual stuff such as a full stocked kitchen, a nice sofa, and even a ceiling fan. There is not doubt that the condominium will remind you of your home; families should definitely stay it this condominium.

One of the best features in the condominium is the sliding patio door because you get an awesome view on the beach area. Every morning, you can awake up, walk to the door, and smell the fresh ocean air. As the day goes by, you will start to see tourists visiting the beach outdoors. Stay in your cozy condominium is fun; however, you will have a lot more fun outdoors with the other tourists.

There is an activity for everyone at the Plantation Village; however, swimming is the most popular. You will find three swimming pools within the area for all guests to use. There are two pools near the condominiums and one by the beach. Because there are so many pools, you do not have to worry about swimming with crowds. On hot days, however, all the pools might full up. When there is no space in the pool, you can always stay in your cool air-conditioned condominium. You do not want to stay in your condominium all day because you might miss an outdoor BBQ.

An outdoor BBQ is a great way to meet new people while enjoying good food. The only problem with outdoor BBQs is that they sometimes take place on the beach. The beach is a cool hangout; however, there is almost no sand on the ground. It is not wise to walk around without any shoes because you might step on something sharp.

If you want to walk on soft sand, you will have to visit another beach in the Cayman Islands. Besides the sand, you will also have a tough time swimming in the ocean due to reefs. The only way to go swimming in this area is by walking 100 yards up the beach. If you do not mind walking, you will have a great time swimming or snorkeling once you reach the proper spot on the beach.

Plantation Village is a cool place for families because the condominiums are cozy and elegant. The lack of sand is the only problem you will have to deal with, but it will not ruin your vacation.
