Cayman Islands - Seven Mile Beach - North and South Side
Seven Mile Beach in the Cayman Islands has a north side area and a south side area. Each area is worth a visit; however, one place is quieter than the other
In the Cayman Islands, Seven Mile Beach is a very popular place for tourists. There are two sides to Seven Mile Beach; each area offers different things. When you visit Seven Mile Beach, you will greatly notice the differences between the two areas. Deciding which place to book your condominium will be quite easy; the places surrounding each location will help you make your choice. The north and south side are both good places to visit; however, the north side is generally quieter.
The north side on Seven Mile Beach, Discovery Point, is a well-known area for families because it is a huge place. Because the area is so huge, you will need a rental car to go shopping or touring. The beaches in the north side are also much nicer then the ones found in the south side. Each north side beach is beautiful, spacious, and peaceful; north side beaches are the best places to visit if you are stressed out. You will not have to worry about noisy people and music on a north side beach; you can easily take a nap without any disturbances. The only problem with the north side is that it is far from the major stores and restaurants. If you want to shop and eat a fancy diner during your vacation, you should stay on the south side instead.
On the south side of Seven Mile Beach, you will find tons of stores and cool places to have lunch or dinner. The south side is very close to Georgetown, which is a popular shopping area in
the Cayman Islands. If you get a condominium in the south side, you can shop at many great stores and eat at tons of awesome restaurants.
You will need to rent a car in the south side as well, and you will have to deal with heavy traffic too. The south side traffic is not too bad; however, it takes getting used too. The locals are very nice, and they will let you turn from your condominium driveway to the main highway without any problems. While driving on the highway, you will see many
Cayman Islands restaurants and American restaurants.

If you plan to take this vacation from the U.S, be sure to visit one of the Cayman Islands restaurants. You already know what McDonald’s and Burger King’s food tastes like. You should really enjoy
the Cayman Islands by driving your family to a local restaurant instead. If you are not a good driver, you can still visit many of the top diners and store.
The best part about the south side is that many of the restaurants and stores are within walking distance from the condominiums. Walking to a nice restaurant will only take about 10-20 minutes, and you will not have worry for traffic jams. If you want to walk to a place that is about 5-10 miles away, you should only go on a cool, calm day.
The north and south sides of Seven Mile Beach are different, and each area offers unique benefits for tourists. For a quiet vacation, the north side is the best place to visit. If you prefer to shop and eat at popular tourist spots, you will have a better time on the south side
