Cayman Islands - Seven Mile Beach and Grape Beach

Seven Mile Beach and Grape Beach are great Cayman Islands beaches, but each one offers something different. You should pick the beach that best suits your daily plans, activities, and budget

When you visit the Cayman Islands, you will notice that there are many beaches, but before you plan a fun beach day, you need to consider a few things. Some beaches have rules you must follow; otherwise, you will have to leave the area. The services available are also important; choose wisely, because some beaches do not offer restrooms and beaches vendors can be a nuisance.

A luxury beach should be visited at some point during your vacation, it is expensive, but worth it, so save your money in advance. In the Cayman Islands, Seven Mile Beach holds the title as one of the best beaches to visit; a few magazines highly recommended it. There are also hotels nearby which offer great services, you should stay at one of them if you plan to spend your entire vacation on the beach.

Seven Mile Beach is great family beach, because you can bring your own grill to cook and feed everyone on a sunny day. Grilling hotdogs is quite relaxing when you play some music, sit down, and watch the ocean as your food cooks. You and your family will not have all the fun, because at Seven Mile Beach, pets are allowed too. Dogs love to play Frisbee there, so if you have a pet, consider bringing him or her along with you.

Seven Mile Beach is worth a visit; however, if you like to party, you might want to consider another place due to the rules. Although you can play music, you cannot play loud music, which is required during a dance party. If you want to party on this beach you have to keep the music low; you can also visit the nearby restaurants and beach bars after your party is over.

Grape Beach is another good choice because it is a nice place for activities, kids, and overall fun. If you like swimming, you should visit this beach because there are changing rooms for you to use. A changing room helps you change into dry clothes quicker with going back to your hotel; this room really helps if you want to go to a nearby restaurant after swimming.

Kids will also like this beach because there is a playground about 300ft away. Your kids will love the swings and slides, and next to the playground is an ocean where tourists and locals ride jet skis and parasail. Jet skiing and parasailing are fun activities for adults and teenagers, kids; however, will want to go snorkeling after playing at the playground. There is a great place to snorkel near the playground area, so bring the proper gear so they can go snorkeling with you.

Seven Mile Beach and Grape Beach are worth a visit during any Cayman Islands vacation. Seven Mile Beach is a beautiful place and is suitable for families and quiet parties. Grape Beach is also a good choice because it has activities for adults, teenagers, and kids.
