Sunshine Suite Resort - Great Food, Average Beach

Sunshine Suite Resort is not for everyone due to a number of reasons. The food is terrific, but guests will not love the view from their rooms.

The Cayman Islands is a popular place to visit during the spring and summer because of the beaches and the beautiful scenery. Tourists love the atmosphere, and they always try their best to book a room that offers an ocean view. The Sunshine Suite Resort, however, is a good resort, but it does not provide fantastic views from any of the rooms. The only good thing about this place is the food, and the quiet atmosphere.

If you are planning to stay at Sunshine Suite Resort, you have to choose the right room because some of them are near a construction site. From 7:00a.m to 8:00a.m, construction workers use their heavy equipment, which is quite loud. If you are a light sleeper, you need to avoid rooms 107 - 111 because they are within a close distance to the noise. You might also need a downstairs suite because staying in an upstairs room can be painful. The problem is that the resort has no elevators, and climbing the stairs everyday will tire you out.

When you arrive at Sunshine Suite Resort in the Cayman Islands, you are given rum punch, which is quite delicious. After tasting the punch, you will look forward to lunch, which consists of many delicious items. You should order the fish tacos because they are superb, and you can share them with friends. The best time to eat at this resort, however, is on Thursdays because it is BBQ buffet night. The item is seasoned and cooked well, and you will love the smoky flavor in each piece of meat you eat. After your first day is over, the staff will prepare you a nice breakfast in the morning, which is free for all guests.

Grand Cayman Beach
There is not doubt that the food is fantastic, but the nearby beach is not due to its location. The beach is across the street from the resort, and many cars drive by quickly each day. Visiting the beach will be a challenge, and running back and forward will be a big issue for people with kids. Another problem is that the beach does not have any chairs, so you will have to bring your own. You must be quick because running across the street with the chairs will slow you down, which makes this a dangerous task.

Once you get to the beach, you will discover that there are no activities for kids. Children who know how to swim will probably enjoy snorkeling, but kids who cannot swim will definitely need some beach toys. A freebie, football, volleyball, kite, or sand buckets would be the best items for young children. If your kids do not like any of these activities, you should consider booking a room at another resort that is closer to a different beach.

Sunshine Suite Resort is not for everyone due to its location and the limited amount of kids activities. The food, however, is terrific, but location of the beach from the resort can be dangerous for kids.
