Westin Resort and Spa

The Westin has a classy atmosphere, and every cay elegant rooms. The beach area near the resort has one major issue, but there is a way to resolve it.

The Westin is a fantastic resort, and it is in an amazing spot near great restaurants. This resort is also close a fabulous beach, and you can easy walk to it within minutes. All the rooms are amazing and elegant, but only a few of them offer the best ocean views.

If you want to enjoy the scenery during your stay at the Westin, you need to get a ground level room. From these rooms, you can see the beach from your front door every day, and you will have quick access it. Overall, the beach is a good area to spend a day, but you will have to deal with one issue, there is no shade anywhere.

No shade will be a huge problem for many people; you can solve this problem by visiting the beach prepared. You should purchase an umbrella to put over your chair, you can get one at a department store in the Cayman Islands. If you plan to walk around on the beach to socialize, you will need a sun hat or visor. A good sunscreen is also important; you should avoid the cheap brands because the most expensive brands work the best. The pool area at the Westin is a nice alternative to the beach; it has shaded areas and a good crowd.

The pool has great delicious food and nice people to talk with; there is also music that plays through the resorts speakers. The food is served near the swimming pool, so you can have lunch after you are done swimming. The music that play as guests are eating or swimming is great, but it may annoy some people. During parties, the music is wondrous to dance to; however, casual tourists will not be able to relax due to the volume. There is no doubt that the pool area is an outstanding place; however; do not expect to take naps there.

Breakfast time at the Westin is excellent; the resort offers an outstanding buffet, which consists of many types of morning foods. Although the dishes are good, some people prefer to travel to other places for breakfast. Across the street from the Westin is a restaurant called Eats; they have a great breakfast menu. If you get a Cayman Islands activity guide, you will find a coupon for this restaurant. The coupon will give you a great discount on your meal; the overall breakfast will cost $3.99.

Dinner at the Westin is fabulous as well, but if you like Japanese food, you have to stop by Yoshi's. It is best to use a taxi to get to this restaurant because they are very quick. You will not have to wait no longer than 5 minutes going to or leaving your destination.

When you arrive back at the resort, you can enjoy the pianist playing in the lobby. The pianist name is George Davidson, and he plays relaxing music for resort guests around 8:00p.m. Many people enjoy drinks while listening to the music, so plan your day so you can be back in time to catch the show.

Despite the lack of shade on the beach, the Westin is a great resort for all tourists. The pool is great, and the pianist who plays music makes the resort a classy place.
